Hi, I’m Amanda

I'm a big believer that healing happens through both trauma work and safe, meaningful connection.

From a young age, I found myself drawn to understanding people and the stories they carry, especially around trauma, relationships, and resilience. Remember the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul books? The writing was totally on the wall for me becoming a therapist!

Early in my career, I realized I wanted to help people do more than just cope with painful experiences. I saw how many people could logically understand their past or patterns yet still felt emotionally stuck in them. It inspired me to advance my training in EMDR, attachment, and parts work so I could help clients create deeper and more lasting change.

My Specialties

How can I best support you?

I'll be honest, sometimes the hardest part of healing is realizing that insight alone doesn't change the pain.

Many clients come to me already understanding their patterns, but still feel emotionally stuck, disconnected, or reactive underneath it all. That's where the deeper work comes in. Our brains and nervous systems are incredibly adaptable, and meaningful change beneath the surface can happen, especially when we experience therapy that feels like the right fit emotionally and relationally.

Happiness is only real when shared.

  • My rate is $175 for a 50-minute session together.

  • EMDR helps reduce anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship triggers by processing past relational wounds that shaped your sense of safety and attachment. As those memories heal, many clients experience more self-trust, less reactivity, and feel more secure in relationships.

  • I’d say my approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in safety and attunement. I’m drawn to depth vs quick fixes. You can expect to go beyond surface level in our work together and it’s okay if we laugh at some dark humor along the way!
